STUDIO IN ART
Grades 9-12, 1 Credit
Studio in Art is a comprehensive course. It is a prerequisite to all other elective art courses (Photography, Ceramics, Drawing & Painting, etc.). Throughout this year long introductory course, you will learn many techniques and utilize various mediums including pencil, charcoal, ink, acrylic, and more. We will create both 2 and 3-dimentional works.
Supplies:
- 2 Pencils
- Eraser
- 8.5x11” or 9x12” Sketchbook
- Portfolio
Portfolios will be stored in the art room and all supplies can be placed inside so students are prepared everyday
Grading:
Grading is based on the following:
- projects
- Homework & Class Work
- Effort and Behavior
Student Responsibilities:
- Be prepared for class
- Be on time for class
- Be respectful and give your best effort
Extra help will be on Thursday
