He and his partner Danielle from Northport High School advanced to Round 2 and earned 2nd place!! It is not often a first-time team advances to round 2 and earns an award in the top 3 in a category. There were a total of 77 projects in their category, Biomedical and Cell Biology.
Out of a total of 425 teams, 20 earn 1st place and 20 earn 2nd place. 1st place winners in each category advance to the finalist round the INTEL ISEF competition after an extensive review of their submissions. 2nd place winners may advance based upon an extensive review of 1st place winners. Good Luck Max!!!
