The Business Office

  • The Office of Business and Finance is responsible for safeguarding the Eastport-South Manor Central School District’s financial health as well as the community’s investment in programmatic excellence for its students and the facilities that house them.

As the Assistant Superintendent for Business, I take very seriously my role in executing the duties that the ESM community has entrusted me. As a parent of an elementary age student in the District, I fully understand the desire of our friends and neighbors who want the best for our students. As a life-long resident of the area, I am also very aware of the financial pressures a school district’s tax levy can put upon those same friends and neighbors. We must strive to find a balance that all ESM community members can live with and we must do it in a transparent fashion.

Encompassed within these webpages the Business Office will work to post the documents our community can use to understand the financial practices of the District, past and present, as it moves forward in an era of fiscally challenging environments for all.
