    #1  A Little Apple Seed

    (Sung to “Eensy,Weensy Spider”)

    Once a little apple seed

    Was planted in the ground.

    Down came the raindrops,

    Falling all around.

    Out came the big sun,

    Bright as bright could be.

And that little apple seed grew up

    To be an apple tree.

Have you ever seen an apple,

    An apple, an apple?

Have you ever seen an apple,

    That grows on a tree.

    That grows on a tree?

    Apples on the ground.

    Blue, purple, brown.

    I see apples all around.

    #4  The Apple

    Up in the apple tree,

    High off the ground,

    I see an apple

    So big and round.

    I climb up the tree

    And hold on tight

    I pick that apple,

    And take a big bite!

    #5   Away Up High

Away up high in an apple tree

Two red apples smile at me.

I shook that tree as hard as I could,

    Down came those apples

    And m-m-m-m- were they good!

#6  “Apple, Apple, On the Tree”

(Sung to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”)

    Apple, apple, on the tree,

I know you are good for me.

You are fun to munch and crunch

For a snack or in my lunch.

    Apple, apple, on the tree,

I know you are good for me.

#8  Doubles to Ten Red Apples

    Here I have five apples.
(hold up five fingers on right hand)
    And here are five again.

(hold up five fingers on left hand)
    How many apples altogether?

(hold palms up like you don’t know)
Why, five and five make ten!

(hold up both hands and jump!)

    #11  A-P-P-L-E

                                                    (to be sung to B-I-N-G-O)
I know a fruit that grows on trees
An apple is its name oh

    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
An apple is its name oh

In summer and in early Fall
It's time to pick an apple
    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
An apple is its name oh

It may be sweet or may be tart
It's red, or green, or yellow

    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
An apple is its name oh

    Make applesauce or apple juice
    Or apple pie with apples
    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
    A-p-p-l-e
An apple is its name oh!
