Adventure Education Spreads Positivity Among Peers

Collaboration, trust and teamwork were evident during Adventure Education Day at Eastport-South Manor Junior-Senior High School, as eighth graders encouraged their fellow classmates to attempt difficult puzzles and obstacles.

The day began with problem-solving challenges in which students teamed up as they navigated each challenge with help from a series of clues. As students progressed through the designated tasks, using cooperation and communication skills was imperative to be successful.

As the day continued, students took teamwork to the sky as they climbed Project Adventure elements such as a rock wall, Burma bridge and cat walk, as their classmates cheered them on from below. The day’s excitement concluded with a zipline, the final obstacle in their collection of challenging tasks.
